This blog is about the cool stuff you can do with your computer. Things you might not know or have heard of. Or you might have heard about them, but weren’t sure if they are worth your time. Sometimes it’s about FileMaker development and sometimes it’s about pure ranting. I will try my best to review more and more software so you can have a better idea about what’s worth getting.

About me

I was born in Hungary, still in so-called socialism. A computer was something they showed us in high school, but we were not allowed to touch it. It was more like a museum artifact. Back then I was more interested in literature, anyway. When I first came across a Mac, it was in French. Being Hungarian, French does not come easily, but I quickly figured out the equivalent words for open and save, and I was good to go. I had several jobs in Hungary, which had nothing to do with IT, except somehow I always ended up jumping in and solving issues.

It was not until I came to NY when had my first ‘real’ IT job. I had several jobs in the past 10 years, but they all revolved around systems, networking, graphic and web design and more and more FileMaker development. I am still a Mac fan, even though, I know my way around Windows and Linux, too.

Currently, I spend my days developing custom FileMaker databases. If you’d like to get more info about that, please go to www.zerobluetech.com.

When I’m not at my desk, I enjoy learning about new technology, photography, reading other people’s blogs, skiing and playing with my dog, Atlas.
